Introduction

The School of Environmental Sciences is currently located across three of the University of KwaZulu-Natal's campuses, namely Pietermaritzburg, Westville and Howard College.

The School comprises a number of disciplines including Geography, Environmental Science, Soil Science, Agrometeorology, Agricultural Extension and Rural Resource Management. In addition, the School contains two centres: The Centre for Environmental Management (CEM) based on the Howard College Campus and the Centre for Environment, Agriculture and Development (CEAD) based in Pietermaritzburg.
